Your Rain

Rain is falling Telling about those thirsty lips And about those wounded cheeks That were kissed by stones and sticks Rain is falling Telling about a lonely sun And about a broken moon Who was raised on the tips of spears As I walk in the streets The rain soaks me with your stories It washes my eyes and now I can See your memories As I walk, your scent fills the air And I hear your steps grow near And between raindrops suddenly Your shadow appears Husayn Let me feel you close again Let my eyes drown in your rain Husayn Let me walk with you again Let my eyes drown in your rain Rain is falling Telling about the dusty hair And the eyes, which had stared At the children dragging their feet in chains As I walk in the streets The rain soaks me with your stories It washes my eyes and now I can See your memories As I walk, your scent fills the air And I hear your steps grow near And between raindrops suddenly Your shadow appears Husayn Let me feel you close again Let my eyes drown in your rain Husayn Let me walk with you again Let my eyes drown in your rain In your rain In your rain In your rain In your rain
