Lyrics
A Sword of Light
I need the shining stars
To find my way
Don’t close Your eyes
Clouds creep into my soul
Cold and gray
Don’t close Your eyes
I can’t fight alone
With all the shadows
Inside my heart
Give me a holy sword
And stay with me
Till the end of the night
A sword of light
A sword of light
Sometimes one small sign
Is all I need
To pull me through
In this noisy world
Don’t forget me
Even if I forget You
I can’t fight alone
With all the shadows
Inside my heart
Give me a holy sword
And stay with me
Till the end of the night
A sword of light
A sword of light
A sword of light
A sword of light
I don’t wanna lose my faith
I don’t wanna lose You
Sometimes I cannot find the words to pray
But I know You hear my silence too
I confess, I fear the dark
When it slowly covers my heart
But it always loses the fight
When You give me…
A sword of light
A sword of light
